Jack Burton is an Australian composer, sound designer, and curator based in Perth. His work spans contemporary composition, audio post-production, and music programming, with a focus on immersive and narrative-driven sound.
Jack relocated to Melbourne in 2018 to study a Bachelor of Music at the University of Melbourne. During this time, he collaborated with institutions and brands including Arts Centre Melbourne, Sense of Self, Grown Alchemist, Melbourne Fringe, and White Night Melbourne, contributing original scores and sound design for a range of commercial and artistic projects.
In addition to his composition work, Jack has organised and run concerts, festival stages, and large-scale installations. He has worked as an event curator and stage designer, a vinyl press operator at Program Records, and is the founder of Deep Water—an independent label focused on showcasing Australian electronic music. The label’s releases have been noted for their curation and support of emerging artists.
His professional services include original composition, sound design, music curation, and audio post-production, including mixing and mastering.
